Campus & Facilities
Suited to Vedic education — a sacred, green and well-ordered campus
The campus of Kanya Gurukul, Panipat is built for the all-round development of girls — where an atmosphere of nature, purity and discipline naturally prevails.
Facilities
🔥 Yajnashala
The heart of the Gurukul — the Yajnashala. Here havan/yajna is performed every morning and evening. Girls learn the yajna procedure, recitation and the construction of the fire-altar. In the Vedic tradition, yajna is not mere ritual but a lesson in sacrifice, purity and collective welfare.
🏠 Residential Hostel
The Gurukul is fully residential. The hostel provides clean, airy and secure accommodation for the girls. Communal living develops a spirit of discipline, cooperation and mutual respect.
🏫 Academic Block
The classrooms are full of natural light and air, ideal for study in a tranquil setting — where education is imparted in keeping with the guru-shishya tradition.
📚 Vedic Library
A collection of the Vedas, Upanishads, philosophy, Satyarth Prakash and other Arsh texts. Textbooks and reference works for modern subjects are also available. Girls are encouraged to cultivate the habit of self-study.
🐄 Goshala
The service of cows holds a special place in Indian culture. In the Gurukul's goshala, girls learn cow-service, milk management and love for animals — a unique part of practical education.
🍽️ Dining Hall
Pure, sattvic and nourishing food is prepared at the Gurukul. The dining hall maintains the highest standards of cleanliness. A Vedic prayer is offered before and after meals. All the girls sit and dine together — a lesson in equality and discipline.
🏃 Playground
Physical health is an integral part of Vedic life. The Gurukul provides for sports, exercise, running and traditional games. Girls take part in physical activities every day during the play period.
The Gurukul is that sacred place where knowledge, values and nature meet.
